The 160mm UPVC Tee is used in:

Installation Guide

1. Preparation

• Cut pipes perpendicularly and bevel edges at ~15°

• Clean thoroughly – remove dust,油污, and debris from socket and spigot

2. Solvent Weld Joint (Permanent)

1. Apply primer to both socket and spigot surfaces

2. Apply solvent cement (e.g., Dadex solvent) evenly

3. Insert spigot fully into socket with a 90° twisting motion

4. Hold for ~15–30 seconds to allow initial bonding

5. Wipe excess cement; allow cure time per manufacturer instructions

3. Push-Fit Joint (Rubber Ring)

1. Lubricate EPDM rubber ring with suitable lubricant

2. Insert spigot fully into socket until depth mark

3. Ensure chamfered spigot aligns properly

4. Verify secure, leak-proof seal

Best Practices

• Support pipes at regular intervals to prevent sagging

• Ensure proper slope for gravity flow (typically 1:40–1:100)

• Avoid exposure to direct UV for prolonged periods if outdoors
