Installation Guidelines

1. Pipe Preparation:

   • Cut the pipe square with a pipe cutter or fine-tooth saw.

   • Deburr edges and clean pipe & socket.

2. Apply Solvent Cement:

   • Evenly apply PVC solvent cement on the pipe end and inside the clean out fitting socket.

3. Join Fitting:

   • Push the pipe into the socket fully (no twisting).

   • Hold for 30 seconds for initial bonding.

4. Cap Assembly:

   • Ensure the threaded clean out cap is screwed properly to seal tightly.

   • Optionally, apply thread sealant or Teflon tape if extra tightness is required.

5. Curing Time:

   • Allow at least 15 minutes before handling and 24 hours before pressure testing.

6. Testing:

   • Conduct hydrostatic pressure test before putting into service.
