What is Reducer Socket 75x40mm DADEX PPRc ?

 

The Reducer Socket 75x40mm DADEX PPRc PN 25 is a transition fitting from Dadex’s Polydex system, designed for seamless diameter reduction in PPR piping networks. It connects 75mm to 40mm pipes via heat fusion, ideal for HVAC distribution, hot/cold water supply, and plumbing in buildings.​

Description

Dadex Polydex PPRc fittings, made from polypropylene random copolymer, offer corrosion resistance, non-toxicity, and longevity for potable water systems. This green-colored socket reducer ensures homogenous joints, minimizing leaks in high-pressure hot water lines up to 95°C.​

• Dimensions: 75mm (large end) x 40mm (small end), outer diameters compatible with standard PPRc pipes.

• Pressure Rating: PN 25 (25 bar at 20°C), per DIN 8077/8078 for pipes and DIN 16962 for fittings.

• Material: PPR Type 5 (PP-R), lightweight, frost/abrasion-resistant, low thermal conductivity.

Applications and Usage

Used in residential/commercial hot/cold water supply, HVAC (e.g., air conditioning, boilers), rainwater systems, and pools. It supports compressed air distribution and seismic-prone areas due to flexibility; common in Pakistan for high-rises and house connections.​

Installation

Clean ends, heat socket and pipe spigots to 260-280°C for 15-20 seconds (adjust for size), insert firmly, and hold until cooled (30-60 minutes). Test under pressure post-installation; avoid solvents—fusion welding only.
