5. Installation Guide

🛠 Tools & Materials Needed

• AGM UPVC Tee 1-1/4″ SCH 40

• UPVC pipes of matching size

• UPVC cleaner/primer (where applicable)

• UPVC solvent cement

• Pipe cutter / fine saw

• Tape measure, marker, gloves, safety goggles

📐 Installation Steps

1. Measure & Cut:

   • Cut pipes squarely to length using a cutter or saw.

   • Deburr ends and remove rough edges.

2. Dry Fit:

   • Insert the pipes into the tee sockets without cement to check alignment.

3. Prepare Surfaces:

   • Clean pipe ends and fitting sockets with UPVC cleaner.

   • (Where specified) apply primer to both pipe end and socket.

4. Apply Solvent Cement:

   • Apply thin, even layer of UPVC solvent cement to the outside of pipe and inside of tee socket.

5. Assemble Joint:

   • Insert pipe quickly into socket with a quarter-turn twist to spread cement evenly.

   • Hold for ~30 seconds until initial set.
