Primary Purpose

Installation & Best Practices
A. Preparation

Cut pipe end squarely — clean and deburr pipe so the end is smooth.

B. Jointing (Solvent Cement)

Apply UPVC primer (where required) to the pipe end and cap socket.

Apply uPVC solvent cement evenly on both surfaces.

Insert the pipe into the end cap fully and quickly, with a slight twist.

Hold in position until initial set (per cement maker’s instructions).
