Installation

AGM Sch 40 fittings use solvent cement welding for a permanent, leak-proof joint:

1. Cut the pipe square and deburr/chamfer the end.

3. Apply PVC solvent cement evenly to both surfaces.
4. Insert the pipe fully into the socket with a 1/4 turn to distribute cement.
5. Hold for 10-30 seconds; allow full cure time (varies by temperature/size, often hours) before pressurizing.
