1. Description

The fitting is made from Polypropylene Random Copolymer (PPRc), a material known for its high molecular weight and excellent resistance to heat and chemical stress. The “PN 25” rating indicates it is designed for a nominal pressure of 25 bar, which is the highest standard pressure class for PPRc fittings, offering a greater safety margin than the standard PN 20 pipes.

4. Installation Process (Heat Fusion)

Because 90mm is a large diameter, precision is critical during the welding process to ensure a leak-proof seal.

1. Cutting: Cut the 90mm pipe squarely using a professional pipe cutter.

2. Cleaning: Clean the pipe end and the internal socket of the elbow to remove dust or moisture.

3. Heating: Use a PPR welding machine set to ⁵$260^{\circ}C$.⁶ Insert the pipe and the elbow into the heating nozzles simultaneously.

   • Note: For 90mm fittings, the heating time is significantly longer (typically 30–40 seconds) compared to smaller residential sizes.

4. Joining: Remove from the machine and push the pipe into the elbow without twisting.⁷ Hold it firmly for the specified cooling period.

5. Cooling: Allow the joint to cool completely before applying any pressure or water.
