Installation Procedure

1. Cut the 25 mm PPR pipes square using a PPR pipe cutter.
2. Remove burrs and clean the pipe ends.
3. Heat both the pipe ends and tee sockets using a calibrated PPR fusion welding machine.
4. Insert the heated pipes fully into the fitting without twisting.
5. Hold the joint until it cools and solidifies.
6. Wrap PTFE (Teflon) tape or apply a suitable thread sealant to the mating 3/4″ male threaded fitting if required.
7. Tighten the threaded connection carefully with an appropriate wrench, avoiding excessive torque on the brass insert.
8. After installation, allow the joints to cool completely and perform a hydrostatic pressure test before commissioning.
