What is Tee 25mm RAKtherm PPRc ?
A Tee 25mm RAKtherm PPRc PN 25 is a socket-fusion PPR fitting used to branch a 25 mm water line into two directions in hot and cold water plumbing and HVAC piping systems.
Description
A tee fitting has three ends and serves to divide one main pipe into a branch line.
Specification
-
Brand: RAKtherm.
-
Material: PPRc / PP-R random copolymer.alrayyangroup+1
-
Size: 25 mm.
-
Pressure class: PN 25.
-
Application: hot water, cold water, HVAC water supply, and general pressurized water piping.
-
Jointing method: socket fusion welding.
Installation
This fitting is normally installed by socket fusion. The pipe ends and fitting sockets are heated with a calibrated fusion tool, then joined while aligned, and held steady until the joint cools.
Good installation practice includes:
-
Cut the pipe square and clean the end before welding.
-
Use the correct fusion temperature and heating time for 25 mm PPR.
-
Insert to the proper depth without twisting.
-
Support the pipe so the tee is not under mechanical stress.
-
Pressure-test the line after curing.
Usage
A 25 mm tee is used to:
-
Branch off a cold-water line to a fixture or subline.
-
Split a hot-water circuit in domestic or commercial plumbing.
-
Feed equipment or terminal units in HVAC water systems.
-
Build manifolds and distribution networks in buildings.
Why PN 25 matters
PN 25 means the fitting is intended for higher pressure service than lower PN classes. In practice, that makes it a stronger choice for pumped water lines, risers, and HVAC installations where pressure margin is important.
Practical note
For best results, keep the tee and pipe material within the same PPR system family, and use trained fusion installation. A poorly welded tee can fail even if the fitting itself is PN 25 rated.
