The Reducing Tee (90x75mm) from RAKtherm is a high-performance fitting engineered for large-scale HVAC and plumbing networks. Imported from the UAE, this specific component is designed to handle the rigorous pressure and temperature demands of modern building solutions.

Description & Material Information

This fitting uses Polypropylene Random Copolymer (PPR-type 3) for its construction. With its “Reducing” function, it connects a 75mm branch line directly to a 90mm main line, eliminating the need for separate reducers and ensuring a compact, leak-proof profile.

Installation Procedure

RAKtherm fittings utilize socket fusion welding, creating a homogenous bond where the pipe and fitting become a single piece of plastic.

1.Preparation:Tools: Fusion Machine.

Ensure the fusion machine is heated to 260°C (±10°C). Cut the 90mm and 75mm pipes squarely and clean any debris or moisture from the welding zones.

2.Heating:Timing is critical.

Insert the 90mm pipe/tee onto the large mandrel and the 75mm pipe onto the small mandrel. For 90mm, the heating time is typically 40–50 seconds; for 75mm, it is 30–40 seconds.

3.Jointing:No rotation.

Usage in HVAC and Water Supply

The 90x75mm PN 25 Reducing Tee is a strategic component for:

    • HVAC Secondary Loops: Connecting air handling units (AHUs) or fan coil units (FCUs) where a 90mm manifold needs to branch into 75mm distribution lines.
