Installation Guide
Step-by-Step Installation
-
Preparation
-
Cut pipe ends square and deburr for smooth surface
-
Ensure both pipe and fitting are clean and dry
-
Mark insertion depth on pipe (33mm for 110mm, 26mm for 63mm)
-
-
Heating
-
Use PPR welding machine with appropriate dies (110mm & 63mm)
-
Heat fitting and pipe ends simultaneously
-
110mm side: Heat for 50 seconds
-
63mm side: Heat for 25 seconds
-
-
Joining
-
Quickly remove from heating tool
-
Insert pipe into fitting without rotation
-
Hold steady for processing time (15s for 110mm, 8s for 63mm)
-
-
Cooling
-
Allow joint to cool naturally (8 min for 110mm, 6 min for 63mm)
-
Do not handle or pressurize until fully cooled
-
Support pipe with clips every 32 inches to prevent sagging
-
Important Installation Notes
-
No threading or glue – only fusion welding creates leak-free joints
-
Wear protective gloves during welding
-
Ensure welding temperature is 260°C ± 5°C
-
Support the reducing tee properly due to size difference
Usage & Applications
Primary Applications
Why This Fitting for HVAC Water Supply?
-
Corrosion-free: Unlike steel pipes, PPRc doesn’t corrode
-
High pressure rating: PN 25 handles high-pressure chilled water loops
-
Temperature resistance: Handles both hot (heating) and cold (chilled) water
-
Lightweight: Easier installation than metal alternatives
-
50-year lifespan: Long-term reliability for building infrastructure
-
Food-grade safe: Inert material, doesn’t contaminate potable water
Advantages Over Metal Pipes
-
No rust or corrosion
-
Lower thermal conductivity (less heat loss)
-
Smoother interior = better flow rate
-
Lower installation cost (no welding rods/threading)
-
100% recyclable material
Quality & Certifications
-
ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management
-
DVGW certified for drinking water
-
15-year manufacturer guarantee from purchase date
-
Compliant with BS 6920 (potable water safety)
