The Male Socket 50×1-1/2″ DADEX PPRc PN 25 is a specialized polypropylene random copolymer (PPRc) fitting designed for secure threaded connections in plumbing systems. It connects 50mm PPRc pipes to 1-1/2 inch male threaded components, supporting HVAC, hot water (up to 95°C), and cold water applications with a pressure rating of PN 25.​

Description

This fitting serves as a transition adapter, featuring a socket end for PPRc pipe fusion and an external NPT/BSP thread for metal or plastic fixtures. Made from food-grade Polydex material by DADEX, it ensures hygiene, corrosion resistance, and longevity over 50 years. It’s ideal for building services like water distribution, air conditioning, and radiant heating in residential or commercial setups.​

Installation

Heat the socket end with a PPRc welding machine to 260°C for 10-15 seconds, then insert the prepared 50mm pipe end and hold for equal time to fuse. Screw the male thread into the female counterpart using PTFE tape, ensuring no over-tightening to avoid cracking. Test at 1.5x operating pressure post-installation, avoiding direct sunlight during fusion.​

Usage
