Hydroplast formulated a specialized adhesive, PVC Jointing Cements Solvent (479 ml / 16 oz), for joining PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) pipes and fittings. It is a solvent-based cement that chemically fuses the surfaces of PVC components, creating a strong, watertight, and permanent bond. This product is typically supplied in a can with an integrated brush for easy application.

Cut the pipe to the required length and ensure a snug fit.

Stir the cement if needed; do not use if it has become stringy.

Using the brush, apply an even coat of cement to both the outside of the pipe and the inside of the fitting. Avoid excess application to prevent puddling or gaps.

Quickly join the pipe and fitting while you keep the cement wet, rotating the pipe a quarter turn to ensure even distribution.

Hold the joint together for at least 30 seconds to allow the cement to set.
