What is End Cap 32mm DADEX PPRc ?

 

Dadex PPRc 32mm End Cap (PN 25) is a high-performance fitting in the Polydex range, designed to seal the ends of Polypropylene Random Copolymer (PPRc) pipes. Its PN 25 rating enables it to withstand higher pressure loads than standard pipes (typically PN 16 or PN 20), making it ideal for demanding hot-water and HVAC systems.

The end cap is a “blind” fitting used to permanently or temporarily terminate a pipeline.

• Material: Manufactured from high-quality Polypropylene Random (PPR) Type 3.

• Pressure Class: PN 25, which means it is rated for a working pressure of up to 25 bar (at $20$°C).

4. Installation Guidelines (Heat Fusion)

To ensure a leak-proof joint, the end cap must be installed using a PPR welding machine:

1. Preparation: Cut the 32mm pipe squarely. Clean both the pipe end and the inside of the end cap with a dry cloth (avoid grease or dust).

2. Marking: Mark the welding depth (approx. 18mm for a 32mm pipe) on the pipe to ensure it isn’t pushed too far into the fitting, which could restrict flow.

3. Heating: * Set the welding machine to 260°C.

   • Push the pipe and the end cap onto the heating adapters simultaneously.

   • Heating time: Hold for approximately 8 seconds.

4. Joining: Remove them from the heater and immediately push the pipe into the end cap without twisting.

5. Cooling: Hold the joint steady for about 4 seconds to set, and allow it to cool completely for 4 minutes before applying pressure.
