Description

The AGM CPVC 45-degree elbow is designed to provide a smooth transition between pipes at an angle of 45 degrees.  The smooth bore reduces flow resistance and prevents scale buildup.

Installation

Installed by cutting pipes squarely, cleaning, and applying CPVC primer and solvent cement. Then, the team fully inserts the pipes into the elbow’s sockets and holds them in place until the joint cures, forming a solvent-welded, leak-proof seal.. Installation should avoid exceeding the temperature and pressure limits specified for CPVC Schedule 80 to maintain safety and longevity.

Usage

Commonly used in residential, commercial, and industrial hot water systems where a change in pipe direction by 45 degrees is needed. Applicable for potable water, HVAC systems, and chemical transfer lines within temperature and pressure limits of CPVC. It is not suitable for compressed air or flue gas applications.
