Step-by-Step Installation Steps

1. Disassemble the Union: Always unscrew the union nut and separate the pieces before welding. Never expose the inner EPDM sealing ring or the threaded joint to the heat of the welding machine, as this can permanently warp the seal.

2. Prep and Mark: Cut the 20mm PN 25 PPRc pipe completely square. Clean the pipe ends and the inner sockets of the union halves. Slide the loose union nut onto the pipe before welding if necessary, ensuring it faces the correct direction. Mark a 14mm fusion depth on both pipes.

3. Socket Fusion: Heat the first pipe end and one half of the union on the $260^\circ\text{C}$ welding machine for 5 seconds. Push them straight together without twisting. Repeat the process for the second half of the union on the opposing pipe.

4. Cooling: Allow both fused joints to cool naturally for at least 2 minutes. Do not move or stress the pipeline during this period.

5. Inspect the O-Ring: Ensure the heat-resistant EPDM O-ring is properly seated, clean, and uncompromised inside its groove.

6. Final Mechanical Tie-in: Align the two union halves perfectly straight. Thread the union nut onto the receiving half by hand first. Tighten securely using a proper strap wrench or spanner.
