4. Installation (Socket Fusion Method)

Because 110mm and 75mm are large diameters, the installation requires professional-grade equipment and precision.

Key Installation Steps:

1. Preparation: Use a heavy-duty pipe cutter to ensure a perfectly square cut.⁵ Clean the pipe ends and the inside of the reducer socket with alcohol to remove grease.

2. Depth Marking: Mark the insertion depth clearly.

   • For 110mm, depth is approx. 38–42mm.

   • For 75mm, depth is approx. 30–33mm.

3. Heating: Use a large-scale fusion welding machine with 110mm and 75mm heating bushes.

   • Heating Time: 110mm pipe requires approx. 50 seconds; 75mm requires approx. 30 seconds.

4. Fusion: Push the pipe and fitting onto the heater simultaneously. Once heated, remove them and push them together steadily without twisting.

5. Cooling: Hold the joint for at least 10-15 seconds. Due to the large size, let the joint cool naturally for at least 10 minutes before moving the pipe.
