🛠️ Installation Guide

Tools Required

• PPRc socket fusion welding machine with appropriate heating dies

• Pipe cutter (for clean, square cuts)

• Deburring tool

• Marker & tape measure

• Pipe support clips

Installation Steps

1. Prepare Pipe Ends:
   Measure and cut the 40 mm and 32 mm pipe ends squarely. Remove any burrs and debris.

2. Clean & Align:
   Ensure pipe ends and reducer socket sockets are clean and dry. Misalignment leads to weak joints.

3. Heat Socket Fusion:

   • Heat the socket fusion tool to the manufacturer’s recommended temperature (typically ~260 °C for PPR).

   • Insert the 40 mm pipe and 40 mm side of fitting into the respective heating dies simultaneously.

   • After heating for the correct duration, remove both from the heating surface.

4. Join Pipe & Fitting:

   • Quickly but carefully push the pipe into the fitting socket straight.

   • Hold without rotation until the joint cools and solidifies.

5. Repeat for Smaller Side:

   • Heat and join the 32 mm pipe end to the 32 mm side of the reducer the same way.

6. Cooling & Support:

   • Allow the joint to cool fully before pressurizing or stressing the line.

   • Support the pipe to prevent sagging and allow for expansion due to temperature changes.

7. Pressure Test:

   • Test the connected system under pressure to ensure there are no leaks.
