What is Male Socket 20×1/2″ DADEX PPRc ?
The Male Socket 20×1/2″ DADEX PPRc PN 25 serves as a male threaded adapter fitting in the Dadex Polydex system, connecting 20mm PPRc pipes to 1/2-inch female threaded components for HVAC and water systems.
Description
This fitting features a polypropylene random copolymer (PPRc) socket on one end for fusion welding to 20mm pipes and a 1/2″ male NPT/BSP thread on the other, typically in green color for hot water identification. It facilitates transitions between plastic PPRc lines and metal or threaded fixtures in plumbing setups.

Applications
Suitable for HVAC hot/chilled water circuits, potable hot/cold water distribution, compressed air lines, rainwater systems, and pools in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. It ensures hygienic, scale-free, energy-efficient fluid transport.
Installation and Usage
Socket fusion weld the PPRc pipe end: heat both pipe and socket to 260°C for 8–12 seconds (for 20mm), push together firmly, hold 10 seconds, and cool for 30 minutes before testing. Screw the male thread into female fittings using PTFE tape; torque gently to avoid damage. Use with PN25-rated Polydex pipes, derate pressure above 20°C per Dadex charts.
