Durability up to 50 years under recommended working conditions.
-
Quieter water flow (no water hammer effect).
Product Description
The PPR Pipe 63mm Aluminum Layer Q-Therm PN 25 is a composite polypropylene random copolymer (PPRc) pipe with an embedded aluminum layer (PPR-AL-PPR). This design combines the hygienic and corrosion-resistant benefits of PPR with the dimensional stability and low expansion properties of aluminum, making it suitable for high-pressure hot and cold water systems. Imported from the UAE, this pipe is widely used in residential, commercial, and industrial applications requiring long-lasting performance.
Applications / Usage
-
Hot & Cold Water Supply in houses, apartments, offices, hotels, and hospitals.
-
Central Heating Systems (radiators, underfloor heating, fan coil units).
-
Chilled Water / HVAC Systems in commercial and industrial setups.
-
Industrial fluid networks for chemicals compatible with PPR.
-
Compressed Air Systems requiring dimensional stability.
-
High-rise buildings where long vertical/horizontal pipe runs need reduced expansion.
Installation Guidelines
-
Cutting the Pipe:
-
Use a PPR pipe cutter for a clean, straight cut.
-
-
Preparation (Scraping):
-
For PPR-Aluminum pipes, use a peeling/scraping tool to remove the outer PPR + aluminum layer at the welding depth.
-
This exposes the pure PPR layer for proper socket fusion.
-
-
Marking Depth:
-
Mark the insertion depth according to the fitting size.
-
-
Heating:
-
Use a PPR fusion welding machine set at ~260°C.
-
Heat both the pipe end and the fitting socket simultaneously (approx. 12–15 seconds for 63mm).
-
-
Joining:
-
Insert the pipe into the fitting without twisting until the marked depth is reached.
-
Hold steady for a few seconds to set.
-
-
Cooling:
-
Allow the joint to cool naturally (do not cool with water or apply stress).
-
-
Testing:
-
After complete installation, perform a hydrostatic pressure test to verify leak-proof joints.
